Miguel Henriques

With a long career as a manager of “C-level” companies in various sectors of activity, in recent years he has stood out in the areas of renewable energy and the environment.

 

He works as an operational partner for several investment funds, having lead PME Capital (forerunner of Portugal Ventures) and PME Investimentos. He is also committed to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a mentor and investor in start-ups.

 

As an academic, he is an economist from FEP and has an MBA from the University of Lancaster, in the United Kingdom, and is a professor of postgraduate management courses at the universities of Lisbon and Porto. He is also an evaluator of the European program EIC (European Innovation Council).
